Taste Productions is the
overarching name for a drama-led enterprise based in West Dorset. The
three main aspects of Taste's work are:
Theatrical productions,
performed by an enthusiastic student group, under the co-ordination of
teacher, Valerie Goodwin
Original and edited scripts,
designed specifically for use in schools. Written by Valerie Goodwin, a
range of scripts that are ideal for young drama groups, and includes
works for the imbalance of boys & girls that is often faced!
'Taster's Toolkit' CD-ROM. A
collection of resources for drama teachers in secondary schools,
including outline schemes of work, planned units of work, teaching and
assessment resources.

Taste Productions offers a range
of services for teachers, drama students and amateur dramatic groups.
Co-ordinated by Valerie Goodwin, the group both performs plays. Scripts
are available for plays to be performed by secondary school pupils in
Key Stage 3 ( KS3 ), Key Stage 4 (KS4 ./ GCSE ) and Key Stage 5 ( KS5 /
AS / A2 ) as well as in schools, youth groups and amateur dramaric
societies. One act plays and two act plays are available for use by
schools and teachers. Scripts are sold on the website for all ages
11-18, 11-16, or any secondary pupil studying GCSE drama or GCSE
Theatre Studies or similar courses at A-level or AS or A2.
The site also offers for sale the
Taster's Toolkit Teachers Resources CD-ROM. The CD-ROM offers a range
of resources for secondary school teachers to support KS3, KS4 and KS5
teaching, including GCSE, AS and A2 resources. The CD-ROM contains
drama lesson plans, teaching resources, scripts, monologues and many
other teaching resources for drama.
