Edinburgh Fringe 2004
The
Edinburgh festival takes place every August, giving performers a great
opportunity to entertain some of the biggest drama fanatics.
Both upcoming new acts and existing acts work hard on a performance to
take up to the festival. In 2004, TASTE productions was one of them,
performing at venue 231!
It is a church
used in Edinburgh and we performed in the basement. More interesting
than it sounds. Every single cast member had an amazing time and I
know many want to return next year.
Our performances
went well, although the Scotsman didn't approve, many of the general
public did. That to us was all that mattered.
Towards the end
of the festival, due to un mentioned circumstances, we lost all our
props and so were forced to improvise. We felt although a bad thing at
the time, it brought us all closer together and proved we can do it
ourselves. Acting being the key to success! |
