Narrator: Most potent, grave, and reverend signiors, My very noble and approv'd good masters, I am come today to tell you the tale of Scheherazade, the nobly born and wise and beautiful Scheherazade; that was married to a cruel and heartless King. She was among the last of the marriagable maidens in her land, and indeed the child of the Grand Vizier, and on that account he was able to keep her from being a bride to the King for many years. But finally the day came when he was called into the Palace and unto the throne of that same King, he who had beheaded every bride the morning after her wedding night, for the past five years.

King:- Well,I will marry again. Who shall be my bride? Fetch me one that shall grace the palace for one night only, as the others before her.

Vizier:- My most honoured Master and sovereign, I tremble before you. I regret to say there are no maidens left in the land.

King: Whhhhhhhatt!? Thou liest infidel and slave, for it is well known you yourself have two daughters, and I swear that both shall wed me before the week is out.

Vizier: It is most true; true I have those daughters you spoke of. But your Majesty ; I have served you faithfully for twenty years and more- may I not-

King:- Silence, dog! Why should you be spared when other fathers have paid their proper tribute to their Lord and Master?
That I have ta'en away the old men's daughters,
It is most true; true, I have married them:
The very head and front of my offending
   Hath this extent, no more.

I have vowed vengeance on my wives.

Let Allah witness I have kept my vow.

Narrator:-

There is no strength or power save in Allah!
